WOW. You don't realise from the TV just how loud the atmosphere is. Looks like Eddie Bravo and Joe Rogan are proper bumchums now aswell. Wtf.
at Gono practising his dance routine. I want him to get a easier fight next. Good to see Wand and according to recent reports it does look like he will be moving down to 185. Dong looked upset, he should have got the decision but he has to blame himself for not being a big more aggressive when Karo was there for the taking. He also needs to work a bit on his cardio. Was good to see Mir in his corner and for his next fight he should spend more time training with Mir's camp.
I go back on forth with White. He seems to be good for the sport, but it's hard to see all these pro guys kissing his ass and trying to beg for another chance from him.
I personally know people who fight in the UFC, and have fought in the UFC. People read Dana ALL WRONG from the outside. He is like a friend to most of these guys. Dana just always jokes around, and some people don't get it. Of course, he has said some ******ed things in the past, but that is just because he doesn't try to be Mr. Perfect, or Mr. Professional. He basically just speaks what's on his mind. 99% of the fighters love Dana. He treats them great, and doesn't act like he is on his high horse around them. I can also assure you that most fighters that I know in the minor circuit would cut off the nuts just to get a chance to fight in the UFC and make what you guys like to call "pathetic" payouts.
The mighty Window Licker has spoken :happy They get paid peanuts relative to the income that they generate - let 'me assure you', thats the simple economic truth, and let me tell you, I know people who used to count and people who can count :deal
Maybe those people can explain to you exactly why the other organizations came crashing down as well.:good The UFC provides the platform for these people to make the money that they make. Not only from the UFC and the fights, but also from the heavy loads of sponsership money that the UFC helps them receive as well.
Let me assure you, as someone who knows people who can count and even read, most people who aren't talk radio listening bumpkins care more about the lot of the fighters, who actually make the money, than the bloated profits of a promoter. I assure you guys :hi:
It doesn't surprise me that you are being advised by a 1st grader who can count and read. Awesome stuff.:thumbsup I mean... who cares about all of the happy fighters who are making more money by doing what they love, than they could make out there busting their asses on roofs every day. Fans who hate Dana White act like they know more about the happiness of the fighters than the fighters themselves. I guess that you would be quite shocked to find out what the lower scale boxers make. The UFC is nice enough to show the fans more fights on the card, and give the best exposure in the world to those fighters who aren't in the main event as well. Like I said, look at how the other organizations came crashing down and went bankrupt. Anyone with half a brain would start to understand. MMA is still a growing sport, and the UFC promote themselves. They don't get HBO to pay them huge money to make big fights happen. They promote everything themselves, and they incur all of the costs of broadcasting the shows, advertising their company, putting on the event at the venue, paying the fighters, employees, ect... Why on earth do you think that the fighters continue to do it? Why do you think the UFC has outlasted everyone else, and is booming while everyone else is losing money show by show?
