Could this card be so bad , that it hurts the UFC?

God im no sick of hearing how crappy this card is why because its a numbered card ? Its free and a pretty nice card one of the best Welterweights Josh Koscheck is in action,Damien Maia the unbeaten BJJ phenom vs Chael Sonnen who is the unoffical WEC Middleweight Champion, dangerous striker Wilson Gouveia unbeaten at 185 taking on top contender long time Pancrase Champ Nate Marquardt and former TUF Champions and very exicting well rounded fighters face off in Diego Sanchez and Joe Stevenson this should be great fight look at the great fights Sanchez has had. This card kicks ass its much better on paper then the other free card we had the other week and that itself was good.

I don't understand why all the dislike for a free card? I can understand if people were bitching because it was PPV but it's not. You just mentioned all the great assets about the card. Infact Sanchez vs Stevenson is a fight I've been wanting to see since Stevenson won TUF 2. I really don't see what's the problem, it's a spike TV event. Sounds good to me.

considering its always free this side of the atlantic you have to look at it from our point of view, its a poor card compared to the others it should of been a fight night

How come UFC dont come Down Under??

We are gagging for some decent MMA here..

It would sell 30plus thousand tickets easily in Sydney and with the U.S economy being so much stronger then ours, costs would be way less then having a event in the very strong economic continent of Europe.. it just seems like a win win situation..

I actually wouldnt be surprised if they sold 50plus thousand seats..

When the NFL decided to bring a game to sydney(pre season match) they got 90 plus thousand people...

And MMA is way bigger here now then NFL has ever been in Australia..

If they were charging money for it, I'd call it the worst card of all time. But since it's free and way better than the last Fight Night card, I don't have a problem with it.

Free or not, it isn't a great card. Would be a good as a fight night but is a poor UFC event.

There is very little to get excited about and having it in the UK seems strange with no names or quality fighters to sell the the sport to a country where the sport is just beginning to take off.

Its too early to have a card in England without a star attraction or Michael Bisping. Could be a backward step.

Wait, are you actually saying that your problem with the card is the name?!

What possible difference would making it a fight night have? What material difference is there that flips the magic switch between fight night and 95?

What point of view? There's nothing to ***** about. What difference does it make if it's 95 or a fight night? It's still gonna be the same s**t with commercials in between. Weather it's UFC 95 or fight night makes no difference at all.

I its a weak show, i am looking forward to watching Maia fight the other fights are OK but there needed to be a main event . Sometimes the weaker show are the more exiting shows. But if UFC 95 is not an exiting show with this poor card in the UK it's going to be very bad for the UFC in the UK.

I think this card definitely has the potential to be much more exciting than UFC 75 (I think, I'm talking about the Hendo-Rampage snoozefest.)

Complaining about this card is ridiculous. This is definitely some of the highest caliber free MMA ever! Joe Stevenson and Diego Sanchez aren't nobodies. Nate Marquardt isn't a nobody. Damian Maia isn't a nobody. Josh Koscheck isn't a nobody.

Almost all of these guys are top 10 fighters in the world. Also you get Dos Santos who just KTFO Werdum and I think it could easily be the best free card ever!

Everyone knew that after St. Pierre-Penn there was going to be a lull until Mir-Lesnar 2... I think this is could be a damn entertaining (and also, so nice that its FREE during a recession) lull.
