I wanted Shogun to win but I always liked Chuck, he was a bad muthafuka for a longtime. Thanks Chuck for the great fights!

Shogun looked good. He hobbled Liddell with those legs kicks, which took all the steam off Chuck's striking. I'm still not sure Shogun is ready for a multi-dimensional, younger fighter. But if his knees are better, and he's getting used to not relying on the roids, then I'd be interested in seeing him in with Griffin again.

    Good call.

Right there with your claim Travis Lutter has better takedowns than Brock Lesnar :yep

I agree, I'm a little reluctant to say that Shogun is back, seeing as Chuck is shot and has been for a while, people just refused to see it. But Shogun looked very good. He looked comfortable all the time and I can't wait for his next fight.

That Shogun/Liddell fight left me feeling empty. I was dying to see it for years and years and years. We never got to see it. And then they get thrown together on the back side's of their careers and suddenly it's over.

CHucks chin is shot. That left hook wasn't a devastating powerpunch and Chuck was OUT. Hang em up, CHuck.

    Liddell has a Glass Jaw.

He needs to retire for his safety.

And he wasn't completely gassed a minute into the fight...which was nice to see. His punching is still sloppy (though effective against a guy with no defense), but he was able to start using his legs well. The thing that made Shogun great was his use of kicks and knees, coupled with solid jits. He couldn't utilize any of that against Griffin, though.

Rico, show some respect man. the guy was really good for a long time and at one time had an iron chin. age will do a lot to you and the man is 40 years old.

His punching has always been sloppy. Almost all Chute Boxe fighters are like that except Anderson Silva. I wish he would use his knees more. They're his best weapon. He devastated Rampage with those knees, as well as many other fighters. I think he needs to start using the Thai clinch again.

I wish that soccer kicks and stomps were allowed. His were brutal.
