And yes, I also agree that at the very least, the top 5 from each division, even the humble, well loved GSP, is juicing. Only one maybe not is A Silva, but his talent and class is light years ahead of anyone else. Take steroids away from Jon Jones and let's see how well he does lol

 

The first example I remember seeing of the effects of steroid abuse was Superstar Billy Graham from WWF. But then Lyle Alzado came around blaming steroids for his brain cancer. It's lies like that which cloud the issue and make educated decisions very difficult.

 

As the sport grows and gets more mainstream he HAS to say this. Anyone who thinks otherwise is naive. The whole Lance Armstrong thing has brought the issue out of the shadows for while. Normal service will be resumed shortly.

How can he STFU? With Lance Armstrong's admission and juice being big news at the moment I bet he is being asked about this every opportunity the media get. I doubt it is White bringing it up. He is the face of the worlds leading MMA brand and is trying to break into new markets etc. Some of you lot are like children sometimes. I hate the fact ANY athlete gains an unfair advantage with juice, and I would rather either see better testing or just let it go on unchecked and have an even playing field either way. But The UFC would go backwards so what can he really do? He has to either get rid of nearly all his fighter or break from the athletic commissions and openly allow juicing, both options put the UFC back 15 years or kill it all together. White is a douche but ****ing hell he cannot win here.

in a less holier than thou society, use of PED's would be fine. Everyone wants to see the best of the best, and that's what juice brings us closer to. You can never fully reach your genetic potential, but use of hormones will bring you 10% closer to that level. However, PC people arrogantly say NO to steroid use, yet rag on their favorite athletes when they dont perform. Since the vast majority of top athletes, men and women, majority of sports, do take something, it comes down to an athlete deciding does he compete on a level playing field, or does he do what Mr. Bob Smith in Oregon think is right, and stay 'clean' (btw, any woman taking birth control or estrogen shouldn't be considered clean any longer by the definition used to describe testosterone users) and lose, lose fights, games, money...
It would come down to a moral question of what you consider cheating. Is lipstick cheating? Eye shadow? Perfume or cologne? All those things are unnatural, fake if you will. Testosterone, a naturally occuring male hormone, increased lean mass. Those things are natural, real, and occur in nature. Increased amounts of test is unnatural? Well, then so is taking extra vitamins, or protein and other macros beyond your BMR.
As for Dana, yes, he does have to say that crap and be a hypocrite, because of this society. He must remain politically correct. Police I find, with respect to things like pot, are the same. They dont publicly speak their minds for fear of being crucified. Ever see Jerry Maguire?

TBH I don't mind juicing, I consider cutting weight worst cheating then juicing.

 

The athletic commission allow fighters to undergo TRT with a doctors note, not just the UFC. They call the shots, not the UFC. That's why UFC's n Vegas adhere to the 6:1 ratio. He also is openly critical of the judges, again supplied by the athletic commission. He didn't allow this to happen. If people want to bash Dana fine, I'll join the queue. But this issue is not his fault and his statement was his only course of action. It's getting a bit ridiculous now. I mean bringing up the fact that Dana juices is irrelevant. You can juice all you want if you don't compete in s port where you are not supposed to. Saying Dana juicing makes him a hypocrite is like saying a guy that drinks alcohol is the same as a drunk driver. Drinking is legal, driving while drunk isn't.
