These gentlemen should just stick to their dry humping and man-hugging contests. Makes me lol so hard when they beat that "Boxing is dead/MMA is bigger" drum and the MMAdiehards back them to the hilt.

These fools need to see the the staxondeck (see what I did there) boxers not named Floyd/Manny make and the the viewers they pull when fighting.

Leo Santa Cruz would be making more money fighting Juan the tree scrub cutter than their biggest headliners.

Ward, Hopkins, Cotto, Alvarez, Khan, Klitschko, Povetkin... all draw more to their fights than any UFC card this year.

A few years ago, Dana White said boxing wouldn't produce a PPV over 1M buys after Oscar retired. New stars always rise and boxing, and everyone loves a big fight. With Silva clearly past it, St. Pierre in self excile, and Jon Jones facing jail time and a drug problem, the biggest star in MMA is a woman.

MMA's ppvs have gone down steadily since about 2009, and the trend is still pointing downwards.

Meanwhile Boxing is breaking records week after week as far as ratings go

Boxing fans shouldn't get too ****y though, to be honest outside of MayPac and fights they are directly involved in, boxing ppv numbers aint all that great either. Our TV ratings are doing ok, nothing that special imo, but its not translating to ppv buys.... yet.

MMA fighters have Glass Jaws. It is why they are in MMA and not boxing.

Adrien Broner, Juan Marquez, Thurman, GGG, Adonis, Kova, Khan, Bradley all draw more views than 91% of mma bouts too...

"Boxing is dead, that's why we never stop talking about it"

    -Entirety of UFC

In truth, boxing has been on the rise lately, this year has been great, can the same be said about UFC? UFC looks like the "dying" sport of the two, it had its boom, and it's passed.

Boxing would take a hit or decline a bit until the next ppv star takes center stage. Not even close to dying.

The only MMA fighters I know of are Fedor and Cro-Cop, and they are probably long retired.

Boxing is doing well worldwide and has big stars with huge popularity in various countries.

MMA is probably concentrated around UFC which has small, but annoying community.

From USA, to Germany, to Russia, you could find plenty of boxers who draw way more attention and earn money than probably any UFC/MMA "star". There is no comparison.
