I just realised that HOF football player Jim Brown was the colour commentator for the first 6 UFC pay per view events!

Thats pretty cool, I guess he would be an improvement over Goldberg.

    Bas is the man!
They should kick off either Rogan and Goldberg and just get Bas on.

Bas and Quadros are the dream team imo, Mauro was ok for a while but now he just sounds really over excited.

I don't think anyone really knew what the hell was going on in the early UFC's except Royce  Not even the referees.

Bas' schtic wears thin after about 30 min.

The best announce teams I've heard are Lon McEachern, Frank Trigg, and Josh Barnett at Pride 33, and Randy with either Goldberg or Rogan but not both.

Also any show Baroni announces is worth the price of admission.

The very first sentence uttered on the very first UFC broadcast was ****ing hilarious. This old grey guy was basically welcoming the world to a new sport, a sport that would grow more rapid than any other in the modern age. It was year zero, the point from which this story of controversy, competition and finally begrudging acceptance from the mass media began.

ANd what happened?? The guy says welcome to the UFC amid a wierd inverted mouth fart burp that he swallows down mid-sentence.

    ****ing hilarious:rofl

Jim Brown, with one of two facial expressions he's capable of.
