The UFC did him a terrible disservice imo, should've at least had the respect to give him an easy fight to go out on his home turf. Now the LW legend will probably exit the sport off the back of 5 consecutive losses.
He's lost 5 fights in a row all 5 by stoppage, lost 8 out of 11 fights now and you still don't want him cut. The guy, like BJ Penn these days can not beat ANYONE on the ufc roster at their weight. It is pointless the ufc giving him any farewell fights as he can not and would not beat ANY fighter on the roster that's how bad Gomi and Penn have got and if they wish to completely embarrass themselves and wash their legacy down the drain then I just don't know what to say anymore.
Shame, but the writing has been on the wall for Gomi for years now. He failed to evolve/put the work in when it came to training. Still top3 ATG at LW.
