i have all three that is if your refering to fight night champion.. well if you are looking for more of a fast paced, quick knockouts, and impossible submissions, then id go with ufc if you want a realistic where you have better graffics, ground game is good and submissions are a lot more real, and standup is really fun then id get ea mma fight night champ is a must get it is a great all around game, specialy the career, and the little story but yea so MMA- Id go with ea mma, but if your not a die hard then you might not know al the people, but you probly are so...your call
UFC: pretty enjoyable, career mode was fun. Biggest flaw for me is when I go against good takedown/submission artist, I tap in under 30 secs after he took me down even though I try everything the tutorial taught me to counter it. Very frustrating and it made me abandon the game pretty quickly. (maybe I just suck who knows, but i doubt it) EA MMA: never tried. Fight Night: very fun, realistic and enjoyable with great graphics. It would be my pick out of these 3 for sure. I just feel the MMA games are still too complex to simulate, perhaps the next versions will be more accessible. The ufc tutorial is just endless, it's so hard to remember everything.
I have all three.. MMA if fun as hell, but it gets repetitive and the body shots are unrealistic because you can just spam them. When you learn how to parry and duck the striking can be very fun tho...Ground game is boring..but not too bad..I like the submission battles. 7.5/10 UFC game is ok, but you get bored of it easily, I like the physics but it seems too stiff at times ..the ground game is actually really fun with an impressive number of moves/submissions/transitions etc 7/10 Fight Night Champion, is the greatest Boxing game ever created..I HATED round 4..and I LOVED round 3..The physics are spot on..the roster can be better..but I LOVE the smoothness of the game..the graphics are breathtaking..and every fighter feels different because of the height, style and reach differences, Legacy mode is amazing and very hard if you play it on the 'greatest of all time' difficulty...career mode is good but they could have done more, becomes repetitive and you end up fighting the same dues for ages because you become so dominant. (if your me, and im the best lol)..Overall one of the few games on my PS3 i still play. 9.5/10
UFC Undisputed has good production values but it doesn't play very well. It's fun, don't get me wrong, but lets say you want to have a 3 round fight with anyone just standing up. Chances are one of you will eventually get knocked out, the stand up game is very unevolved and uninspired, the ground game is a little better but not by much. You basically have to try to transition 3 times and eventually you'll get past or get up. It's nice to look at and its feel is great but it's not at all challenging and is probably only decent online, where the biggest issue is someone getting you into a muay thai plum, then you're ****ed. EA MMA is miles better, better everything. The standup is more fluid and enjoyable, you're more durable and there's better knockouts, you can fake and it's just a better control system. The game is much better, the only issue I have with it is online, when you're taken to the ground, it's almost impossible to get up. Fight Night Champion is great, just do not patch it. Keep the game at its default settings, it won't be as complete as Fight Night Round 4 but it will have one punch knockouts and is better looking which makes all the difference. I'd vote for EA MMA, if not Fight Night Champion, and UFC Undisputed last.
Thanks guys. Sounds like MMA games need to evolve some and I should start by getting FN Champion. Agree??
yep that is until UFC undisputed 3 comes out that is going to be insane IT HAS PRIDE MODE WAAR WANDY!!! [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tcqOtvIsKIA[/ame]
Get UFC Undisputed. I have all 3. FN sucks balls now. EA is pretty average. UFC is alot of fun although somewhat limited in format. Goes without saying though as the concept is simple/
