****ing pathetic...can we even call these ****ers "fans" anyway?
I get the feeling that most of these dumb ****s just bought their tickets and decided to attend this show out of curiosity...

Yeah, the booing was bad. Granted, it wasn't a great card, and the Rashad/Ortiz fight was straight up pathetic. But how they were booing during Nog/Herring is beyond me. Like I said in another thread, that fight was so damn entertaining a Japanese crowd would have given it a standing ovation (and maybe done carthwheels for it).

Yea, its upsetting but cultures are different. It will never be this way here so you might as well just get used to it. I bet you 100% they will boo Fedor cause they dont ****ing know the history behind him.

The whole time on the ground in Florian fight or Sylvia you HAD to knowing something about submissions to know how the somethings just breezed by. Or how people starting screaming No in Sherk fight in a guillotine with an arm wasn't gona finish Sherk. Blah fans in stands are just butch of straight up rednecks who want to see someone get their face ****ed up.

It really is pathetic.......most of these people are just ****ing stupid imbeciles who think the UFC is all about the no holds barred blood and guts and how people are going to get there heads caved in.

The don't have a single idea about the grappling or any knowledge what so ever.
    I hate those dumb****s....

That is the biggest reason why I would take Pride over UFC, it's because the ignorant fans who boo at the drop of a hat. there totally mindless and don't respect most aspects of the sport

yep they'll boo fedor just like they did at the american pride show. . . . .wait a minute they pretty much hugged his nuts the during his whole fight! even tho he was fighting a american :admin plus fedor has a very entertaining style and never lnp his way to victory:!:

and i can't really understand your second paragraph, so it's wrong for the fans to have a favorite?

Thats because the mainstrem 'ignorant american fans have probably never even heard of PRIDE.
The ones who wnt to the Pride show are the ones who take a indepth interest in MMA.

Most of the 'fans' who went to the UFC last night are the ones who just go for blood and guts and boo when they don't see it.

I think Fedor will be booed by people in the UFC.

 ye of little faith. ok lets look at why they would like fedor
    1 he's got a good record
    2 he's got good striking
3 he can easily submit people
4 he can come out of nowhere and get a win while losing
5 he looks like your drunk uncle that you always cheered for when he got in a fight
    6 he's modest
    7 he's a robot
8 he's beat a bunch of fighters they no of in america

ok here's why they wouldnt like him
    1 he's russian
    2 he's from pride

which one seems to overweigh the other???

I assume you're just talking about the people who want to see a fight and not the people who actually care about the sport and are still UFC fans?

Going on that basis, I agree, I ****ing hate them. I personally try to disrespect another fighter, especially by booing them when I'm at a live event. Don't just make such a broad generalzation as the title of this thread though.

This **** is all the same though. submission fighting isn't a simple thing that a person can just sit down and understand pretty much what is going on (see boxing), you must learn it and understand it to enjoy ground fighting. If not, then the average person justs see it as lay and pray, while a person with knowledge of the sport can see the difference between trying to advance their position no matter how slight compared to stalling the rd.

See the thing is the Pride show in america mainly drew people who KNOW pride. UFC fans in the stands mainly DONT know pride.

I agree with the points you made but how will all the fans know all of that? Thats gona have to be at least an hour promotion to give them all the history he has. That is A LOT of money to put down on one person. The little promotion will give him the insight on "He's dominated pride, he's from Russia, be afraid" That will not be enough.

I also wasn't talking about croud favorites i was talking about the ground game that was goin on in Silva and Florians fights. Croud only saw hugging, but i actually saw there was quite few close moments where it could've been a good submission.

Back to Fedor. I hope he comes to UFC ASAP.
