Agreed, it's good to see Cigano back, but that fight won't give anyone much of a read on how much he really has left at this stage.

In my opinion, Light Heavyweight is just as bad -- if not worse -- at the moment. The title logjammed with Cormier winning the Heavyweight title. Gustafsson probably moving up. Jones, when he finally does return, is probably going to move up and fight Cormier for the Heavyweight strap once DC batters Brock. At the end of the day we're all fans, and we all want to see great matchups and the best fighting the best.

 

Minakov should have signed with the UFC years ago. He's had one foot out the door for a while though I doubt it will happen.

 

HW is pretty bad though. Nevermind Gus and Jones. Glover who is shopworn and almost 40 would probably crack the top 10 if he moved up. Wouldn't be shocked to see other LHWs do well if they moved up either.

 

Skipped out on this event, doesn't look like I missed much.

 

Mendes stopping Jury and Prices finish you might want to check out though. Volanovski also put a clinic on Elkins and stopped his hot streak.
