That card was great. On a other note... Rampage once again shows his uncanny ability to pick HORRIBLE match-ups for his team.
Everything about him as a coach is downright terrible. 10 minutes of "Come on, get up" being his one piece of advice.
I think he figured out about two minutes in that this Abe fellow was just going to close guard and try not to get tko'd. What can you do with a guy like that?
True, and I love Rampage... but he is an awful coach. At least in the corner. Rampage isn't a technical fighter to begin with.
Seriously, great card, every single fight was entertaining, every fighter wanted to win and win big. Should've been called "Fight Night 19 - Rent Money".
Could have at least pulled what Hughes did: "Yea, thats great, just lay there and get beat. Just quit, why don't you just quit?" Maybe try to at least get him to do something.
Because I don't think Rampage even cared about what happened TO Wagner... only what it meant for him and his considerations.
