Jorge Lopez was one the fighters from Wand Fight Team I was trying to recall on another thread.

I've heard a lot of good things about this lad.

Lopez made the mistake of tring to out muscle ed in the clinch insted of keeping him at range and stringing on the inside with the view to getting out of range.

Cant see Edwards taking to many of those knee's, he's wide open for them

I really dont understand why Lopez is initiating the clinches here. He seems too worried about the TD to strike, and ends up getting out muscled anyway

Two very workmanlike rounds in the bag for Edwards, who was the biggest underdog on the cards with the bookies. Both are looking tired though, Edwards might not have enough left in the tank for another five minutes of the takedowns and clinch-work.

29-28 Edwards on my scorecard. Thought Lopez had it when he had back-mount and flattened him out.

I think Lopez is very green, but still one for the future

Just made a few mistakes in the 1st 2 rds that cost him in regards to positioning and was outmuscled, 3rd was more like it

Yeah, at 22 he's just a baby. He'll need to keep working on his grappling and gain the confidence to strike even when the takedown is a threat.

Lullo needs to be ready to go out on his shield here and bum rush Peralta and make this a toe to toe punching exchange or he's going to be picked upart at will and Peralta seems to be carrying less pop the close you get inside

And that's 29-28 to Peralta, he certainly made a good impression with this fight.

He could be the featherweight Edson Barboza.

    :think

Impressive work at range from Peralta, great leg kicks and a few nice overhand rights. Get inside the pocket though and he doesnt carry as much power with those long limbs and moves backwards in straight lines with little head movement when Lullo was pressing forward throwing punches at him. And his clinch work was weak

Be interested to see how far he can go

Great display from Waldburger. Loved the transition from armbar to triangle to finish.

Nice work from TJ, Good wrestling, quick transitions and submissions will always be effective in the wrestling heavy WW division. How old is this kid?
