So tonight is UFC Fight Night on the new channel Fox Sports 1 and to kick it all off this card is absolutely stacked. So whats everyones predictions on tonights fights? Here are mine: Sonnen via decision, Overeem via TKO, Faber via decision, Matt Brown via TKO, Lauzon via submission, McDonald via decision, McGregor via TKO. I'll leave the rest of them out as these are the best ones but this is a stacked card from top to bottom and I can't wait. WAR SONNEN!
YOU'RE A BUM!!! Naw seriously, I just looked at the card, and I agree "stacked" would be a huge overstatement. However, there should be a couple of entertaining fights. Chael's best asset is his talk-game. And Rua fights like a guy who's 7 or 8 years older. Nevertheless, the chance to see Sonnen lose usually justifies watching his matches.
Well if you are a "Average MMA Fan" then you should pretty much recognise most of the names on the card. I have no doubt in my mind that Sonnen will beat Shogun. This is scheduled for 5 rounds and Shogun will be tired after the 1st. Sonnen is relentless and always comes forward and he will get the takedown because he is just too relentless which will make Shogun fatigue even more.
....I get the impression you're a Chael Sonnen fan?...lol. Shogun's hard to predict, sometimes he fights brilliantly and sometimes not. No real consistency. My prediction would probably be similar to yours.
Shogun is clearly the more skilled fighter but he's an old 31 who has been in some wars so I'm not sure what who wins that...still lean Shogun though..Reem seems like a matchup nightmare for Browne so he should win..Faber via decision sounds about right? I also like Lauzon to win via submission as well
Oveer Juice is the biggest hype job to come to the UFC. Survive his initial onslaught and he's gassed, no defense , and wide open for the KO.
