Emmet Brennan (3-0) vs Kevin Cronin (8-1-1) 2 Irishmen to get the Dublin card started, these guys share a common opponent in Jamie Morrissy who Emmet took his 0 with a TKO while Cronin fought him twice drawing and losing. Only thing I don’t like about Brennan is the age at 33 if he wants to make any noise in the LHW division he’ll need better stepups. Thomas Carty (8-0) vs Jonathan E. Vergara (6-1), A hometown for Carty he is basically the only hope for the Irish at HW with a boxrec ranking of #98 in the world. Jonathan Vergara is probably the best guy he’s fought at this point with his only loss coming to English prospect Tommy Welch. Carty originally was supposed to fight a setup can in Jacek Chruslicki but I’m happy that fell through this is a better matchup. Craig O’Brien (14-3) vs Edward Donovan (7-0), Not much to say about this one it’s a squash match for Donovan. It has been over a year since we last saw Edward but he should still get the job done over a guy who can’t beat winning record fighters. Ali Ahkmedov (21-1) vs Pierre Herbert Dibombe (22-1-1) this is a solid SMW matchup between 2 guys with 1 loss each. Ali got caught by Carlos Gongora while Pierre lost a decision to Bektemir Melikuziev. Whoever wins will get another chance to rise up the ranks at 168. Callum Walsh (11-0) vs Przemyslaw Runowski (22-2-1) The main event for the ufc fight pass card is their golden boy vs yet another non top 100 ranked fighter at 154. Runowski has faced a few solid fighters that are responsible for his losses and draw but he himself really isn’t impressive. I hope callum can face a top 50-100 guy next time out enough of the semi cans.
