The man was twice his weight, let the oversized man hit him without defending himself, he was drunk, what did you think was going to happen? BJ Penn would have killed him if he was trying, he clearly wasnt.
It is called, selection. Picking boxing over mma doesnt give you superhuman habilities, but if you pick boxing and get to the top, then you have them. Look at mcconnor, as soon as he could he got into a ring (to be humilliated by the way). Macconnor nerver ever ever ever, E-V-E-R, would get to the top of boxing. NEVER. No matter how much he trains. Selection, dude, it's called selection, not so hard to understand, you can ask Darwin if you have any doubt.
it's funny how you think that to be a mma fighter instead of a boxer makes your chin glass, and not that to have a chinachin makes you a mma fighter instead of a boxer. Delusional stuff. The truth is that 99% of mma fighter cant do **** in professional boxing. And dont tell me "oh, man, is another sport". Because the truth is that most of them tried and couldnt, like macconnor who couldnt be even a decent amateur. Most of them cannot even reach proboxing.
Meh. As much as I wish I could use this to crap on mma... it really is rather meaningless. 1. BJ is a shot fighter. Oftentimes shot fighters have lesser chins and reaction times than even an average guy due to the head trauma they've received. 2. He was likely drunk. 3. He was obviously not in fight mode. 4. He basically let the guy punch him. ... Meaningless.
I think this proves how stupid Penn is, not how tough or good his chin is. I don't doubt that any fighter drunk enough and stupid enough to let someone hit them would go down.
If that were the case then we would see outliers in MMA that are clearly better than the competition. Since, you know, not every MMA fighters tries boxing first.
You clearly don't like MMA which is totally fine but not sure why you and a few others with little knowledge of the sport feel the need to trash MMA and the quality of the fighters. The fact is 0-0 boxer Mcgregor was far from humiliated when he had the balls to fight top P4P boxer Mayweather at his own game,(something Mayweather and most boxers would never ever ever EVER do when it comes to fighting MMA) winning several early rounds and doing better then some of Mayweathers more experienced opponents have done, with his shitty conditioning at the end having as much to do with the fight being stopped as Mayweathers punches.
People really need to stop denying that glass jaws exist in MMA, LOADS OF THEM exist! There's WAY MORE glass jaws in MMA than boxing.
The truth is despite what you may believe the reverse can be said about boxers ever reaching the top at MMA which is why most never even try, unlike you they respect and know hard it is to get to the top of another sport and the different skills needed.
