So does MMA. You acted like mma lets anyone fight, well anyone can fight, but this kid is a joke and was able to fight professionally. :rofl A complete joke to the sport.
:good As for the last spot. I Understand where you are coming from, but it's often compared to thinking the boxer will boxer and the mma fighter will do mma stuff.
Dont agree. I think Mayweather, RJJ, Mosely ect could of succeeded in any sport size permitting, I don't feel the same about MMA fighters.
I don't blame you on that one. I really like the standup and aggressive wrestling- take downs, throws, etc, but nothing's worse than watching a brazilian jiu jitsu guy who lays there and does absolutely nothing for minutes on end because he's just waiting on the other guy to do something. ****, I'm a wrestling guy and can't stand that.
don't get me wrong. i have nothing but respect for boxers. i just picked it up fast and was sparring pretty hard after a couple weeks and not getting killed. in MMA you need to know and be aware of so much more, that isn't even up for debate. both sports are great and both groups of fighters deserve respect, not all these losers with keyboards calling them ***s.
I'm sure they're extremely useful defensive/offensive skills just not to sure on the UFC as a spectacle.Don't get be wrong i'm not calling it bollocks I just feel it should be slightly adjusted for maximum entertainment,i.e do away with the rolling about trying to submit OR give a time limit on the floor?
UFC is absolute garbage. I'd watch it if it was any good. Even Chuck Norris said it's ****ing horrible.
ive always noticed it was the wrestler who were the ones stalling the action, BJJ actually has the finishing skills on the ground, where a wrestling pedigree gives you control, but not a damn finishing skill, see heath herring vs Brock Lesner(No finshing skill what so ever, should have been easy givn circumstance), when ever its a boring lay and pray situation, its rarely the jiu jitsu guy laying on top stalling the action but to actually comment on the topic, ive trained both, i found both fun, i will say i always took far more damage boxing, and it was the sport that required more "toughness" but thats due to the limited ways to lose in comparison to mma, boxing you get punched out, only way out lol, mma theres tons, but both when looked at objectively can be enjoyable, but not until you understand the ground game of mma either way, i still love boxing
I thought the ground game was boring until I actually started grappling. Once you learn what's going on, and you learn how difficult it actually is, it becomes much more entertaining.
