. He is at BEST average at both. And don't make me laugh, rugby is nowhere near the competition level of Judo or Wrestling especially olympic level.
He's 5-0 cause he's padding his record right now. Which seems to be quite welcome in Boxing if you havent noticed.

    I'm starting to see that.

This was first posted in the General section, where I said I quite like MMA. Then someone made a facetious remarks about boxing athletes, which I called them up on.

It's all a self defence mechanism.

Agreed, I don't go on slating MMA guys, I just say that boxers are equal if not superior athletes, and then the mma guys blow their wad all over their pc's and go nuts

Give me something logical and concrete. We provided you with facts where top notch OLYMPIC and NATIONAL champions came to combat of mixed martial arts and became great competitors. That's at least 2 sports where they excelled(<---key word).
Now stop your ignorant emotional rants and give me a concrete argument which would provide ANY evidence of boxers being superior athletes to MMA fighters. Or just go backpedal like inferno.

Yea, it is. Wrestling is competed all over the world and different disciplines and it's been refined throughout thousands of years. Sorry, if you like rugby that much.

    K, prove me wrong.

Show me a statistic that has more rugby players than wrestlers world wide.

lol, you can't seriously believe that Rugby is more competitive than wrestling. You don't think its more competitive than boxing do you?

What.. the hell are you talking about? :huh There are more fisherman in the world than soccer players, are they 'better athletes'?

Rugby is the national sport of South Africa, Australia, New Zealand; a major sport in England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales, and nationally popular in France and Italy. Judo isn't even a mainstream sport in Japan

And whats with this weird obsession with the "OLYMPICS"? :huh

Track and Field IS the Olympics; most major global sports aren't even competed at the Olympics, and those that do don't take it seriously; basketball, Baseball, Soccer etc. The idea that the "OLYMPICS" is some sort of barometer for athletic greatness is very flawed.

Oh, you do know that boxing is an Olympic event dont you? :rofl
