Oh yea... Lindland KO. Man... I was really worried there. I always wondered just how bad a KO can be. This is as bad as I've ever seen it. He was literally out in a dream world for 5 minutes trying to wrestle people. Thats YEARS of fighting lol. The brain is shut down but the body keeps fighting.

If they want to compete with the UFC they better start making money.

As well as Golden Boy Promotions backing them.

I really hope that Affliction stays around because it is always great to have competition. However... I REALLY want to see the resurgent Belfort against Anderson Silva, and Lesnar vs Fedor..... REALLY bad.

DLH was present at the event. Looks like Oscar loves the mighty dollar and is becomign a very shrewd businessman. That being said the UFC does what is best for its organisation. Im sure Affliction would be willing to cross promote but the UFC wont and thus the fans are robbed. Matters not as if Affliction can become the equivalent to PRIDE in the West fans will take note. The world knows about Fedor now.

Oh please! Affliction will be out of business within 6 months!
They're practically already out of money.

As long as Fedor keeps winning - Affliction will be around.

Yeah - because Golden Boy, Affliction and Trump were backing all those promotions as well.

And do you think Donald Trump is in the business of losing money?? They still have the same core of fighters they will recycle every show. And when is their next show? It's hard to compete with the UFC if they only have shows every 6 months. Hopefully they survive I bought the ppv and thought there was some great fights.

This pretty much sums it up. Especially after last night.

What happened was millions saw what this guy Fedor did to the former UFC Heavyweight Champion. Casual fans now are going to ask, who else has Fedor beaten? Then they will say that he destroyed Tim Sylvia too, another former UFC HW champ in 38 seconds...The legend grows, the public wants more. Fedor > UFC no two ways around it

As for Affliction running out of money, they were suppose to run out a year ago lol. Now with the Donald and GBP on board, people not familiar with these two guys should know, they will both put the Fertitas to shame in both greed and money.

After last night, I think Affliction caught some serious steam. Two things, Fedor and Belfort and to a certain extent Barnett. The production was the best theyve done. They were just more professional than the UFC and less over the top than Pride.

Atencio certainly is a serious guy compared to the alwys cussing Dana (which act is getting old)

They need fighters no doubt, good thing Le, Diaz, Lawler and Noons are free agents. If they can get them, and Silva leaves the UFC. Theres no way Im taking a Rampage/Rashad main event over anything Affliction puts out.
