    One interesting thing to note is the varying names involved in the UFC cards. There are two names all in common with the biggest boxing PPVs.

    yep only floyd and pac while ufc has numerous fighters in the ufc. I can't wait to see the ppv buys if gsp-silva happens this year.

    Toney/Couture was a rip off of the highest order, I feel sorry for those 535,000 fans who bought that ****, only Edgar/Penn saved that ppv from complete destruction

    I doubt they'd beat a Pac-Mayweather fight if it were to occur this year. In fact I'd bet a fair amount of money on that. But that aside, I do think they are close in terms of PPV's.

    Maybe slightly, though boxing is not only reliant on PPV.

    In the end, both are niche sports and they aren't even affecting each other.

    MMA will never be bigger than boxing, but it does have a place.

    Boxing goes through it's up's and down's but at the end of the day the history and legacy involved surpass anything UFC or MMA can deliver.

    There's room for both, people are being unfair on MMA trying to put it against boxing all the time. Just let the 2 work side by side.

    UFC is bigger than boxing on PPV but boxers are bigger than UFC! boxing isn't an org, so as an event the UFC will always outsell it but not if floyd or manny are on show. the same with dlh and if a tyson were to rule the heavies.
