I was saying that before the fight. I would have been surprised if the fight had played out in any other way.

Yeah, I watch every single possible event out of disappreciation. Believe me, I appreciate the sport more than most, and I'm not going to pretend to be excited be that fight. And you don't have to pretend to be elite/superior by being excited by that.

 I liked the 3rd round in Bisping/Sonnen. I also appreciate Evans' performance but Davis was overmatched, Shad should've finished him. Hate when guys stay around that look like a gust of wind would blow them over. I know it's not all about ko's and action but the card did lack that needed excitement.

Yep, I actually picked Davis in this fight but Rashad showed he was the better man. he fought smarter and better and showed he deserves the next title shot.

It was obvious by the third round (or earlier) that Davis had nothing for Rashad, either on the feet or on the ground, yet Rashad did nothing to step it up and he was never looking for a finish.

Bisping/Sonnen was a very entertaining fight with a highly questionable result

Maia/Weidman was pretty average, pretty bad to see two middleweights gassing like that in a 3 round fight. I wouldn't be surprised if a few of the guys on tonights card get a bit of a talking to about showing up in shape and ready to fight (I'm looking at you, Einemo...)

I enjoyed Rashad-Davis. Sure Davis was outmatched, but there was no way to tell that ahead of time. He has looked good and Rashad has been very inactive and is coming off an injury, it wasn't a sure thing that he would turn up in top form. This fight could easily have been the making of Phil Davis as a force, instead it turns out he has to flesh out his game.

No problem for him, he's a young guy and he can walk away with his head high. He was in against a better fighter and he knew it very early on, but he kept trying to win the fight. He didn't give up or try to survive, he tried to win. To me, he showed the right attitude and now he knows exactly where he needs to be if he's going to hang with the top guys.

This fight was more about Rashad being a very good, well-rounded fighter than it was about Davis being ****. Both guys were busy and Rashad threatened to finish a couple of times, but Davis showed good toughness and fighting spirit.

And Bisping won IMO. He had the edge in the first round, clearly won the second and clearly lost the third. He fought very well and I would have given him the decision and a title shot. As it is, he stepped in at short notice, looked damned good and has not lost any ground in his career. :smoke

pretty bad showing...best fight gets a suspect decision, and the rest were basically sleepers

  14. You might be disapointed. Most of the M1 stuff has been pretty exciting, none of these dry humping garbage.

The UFC has themselves to blaim for a **** card. The matchups where just setup for boredom especially Evans-Davis id been dreading that fight since it was orginally set for the August card.
