    Bad ref and a worst corner. Either could have saved him from himself. He is a fighter , thats what fighters do. The corner and ref should have stopped it.

    I agree, nearly all fighters will think they can go on even though, in our eyes, they probably shouldn't: just look at Brian Ortega last weekend and the sustained beating he soaked up for four whole rounds. With that in mind, it is on the referee or the corners to decide that enough is enough and pull the plug.
