I had it 3-2 Henderson. Very close fight that could've gone either way. I had Gil' winning 1&5, the 2nd is the real swing round of the fight IMO.

Sad seeing Nate get finished but Thomson showed how to use evasive movement and still be offensive. Great gameplan.

Matt Brown was scary. His chin is unreal as Mein was having real success striking with him in the first. Trench warfare that. He deserves a highly ranked, as well as highly regarded as Mein's buzz was justified, it's a shame Nick Diaz doesn't seem willing to take anything other than super fights, that'd be fun.

Cormier has great stamina but seems that his gut does not help him absorb body shots. If he doesn't get in better shape and try to get to Jones, he still showed the potential to be a quicker, higher level Randy Couture with his dominant clinch game. I'm not certain that this version of Frank is much better than Bigfoot or Barnett were. Just one of those things I think, still sold on DC.

Matt "The Immortal" Brown has the best nickname in all of MMA. So appropriate and badass. Not only because of the personal story behind it, with surviving a heroin OD, but also because nobody can stop him in the cage. Hit him with whatever you like, he either walks through it or recovers immediately. Put me in the cage with him, arm me with a lead pipe and tell him he's not allowed to touch me for the first round, and he'll come back and KO me in the second.

I think Edgar and Melendez need to fight so we can find out who the best lightweight in the world is.

My guess is thompson will "lose" his next fight against Henderson, and the champ will be the 4th best fighter in the division.

Am I the only one here that think Henderson is far from impressive most of the time ?

It seems that if it doesn't go has planned, he cannot adapt at all ?

I would agree with that but I think the crux of the matter is that he is a very tenacious and imposing fighter. Once he cann't enforce his will on an opponent then he does tend to run out of ideas. This was clear against Frankie and Melendez, maybe Cerrone I also. He seems at his best when he is employing a strategy - Cerrone II and Diaz.

I honestly think his biggest problem is his hair. He needs to cut it, he spends way too much time brushing it back. Even at the very smallest level it's a distraction, one that he has to deal with every time he launches an attack/clinches/gets hit. Towards the end he stopped clearing his eyes much and stalkes Gil' with his hair in front of his eyes.

More than anything else it just looks ludicrous.

That I agree...and I may be wrong but I think it's giving him a to big advantage to defend against guillotine.
