Heavyweight championship Cain Velasquez vs Jr Dos Santos live, free on Fox, saturday night Nov 12th. Just saw an ad during the football game.

will this impact the PPV numbers?

Not a lot of crossover between MMA fans and boxing, I believe. But I think there's a enough that it could impact the numbers.

It will, not as much as people believe.

But the fact that it's free may do it a bit more.

Dana White loathes Bob Arum. I have to believe that he'll revel in the schadenfreude if this significantly dents Arum's bottom line.

If they prefer watching that fight instead of Pacquiao Marquez 3, then I don't want them as boxing fans.

This is a bad decision on the UFC's part.

no its not. its a brilliant move. fox is free in millions of homes nation wide. its network television for ****s sake and a heavyweight championship fight will be shown free! hardly a dumb move.

Pac fans saying if you dont think this fight is 50 50 your not real boxing fan!!!!!

Providing enetrainment for free in this economy against fighters that are at the top of their game as opposed to charging close to 60.00 bucks for a fight between one fighter at his peak against another one on the down slide yet you really want to justify that as worth paying for it ?

We can only hope boxing takes that route ..How many more dollars are you going keep giving Arum ? Haven't we all been scammed enough ? I know I have ..I can wait for replay of the Manny Marquez fight the following week ..

I'll always love boxing first but this is smart marketing if boxing goes that route we win end !
