Fedor Barnett and Overeem is fine. But theres no way he should have been KO'ed vs Manhoef a guy who weighed 100lb's less than him when Hunt was known for his iron chin. As for the Mousasi loss he just turned up and got subbed. This is a guy that has wins over CC and pounded Silva close to unconciousness. Hunt was a serious force. But he just seemed so disinterested lately.

Shock. Just found out he is set to fight Sean McCorkle who is 9-0.

Hunt is on an incredibly bad run though. It could just be that he's fought awesome fighters.

  3. Dana is full of lies, the worse thing is that a tired old Hunt actually has a great chance against these garbage UFC fighters....his standup and kickboxing is definately far better than the UFC's top HW, Brock.

I wish Hunt destroys the UFC, he basically went there because he knows its his last chance at anything and the only place left willing to accept him (just shows the quality required in the UFC).

That would be sweet if hunt went in there and cleaned out the UFC heavies.

  5. That would be funny....like falling out of my chair funny.

Imagine if both Toney and Hunt won and went through a rampage in the UFC.

I'd love to see a motivated and well trained Hunt turn up, because he would be a lot of trouble for almost anyone in the UFC HW division. He has wins over Cro Cop and Wandy and a K-1 WGP crown. Unfortunately I think he's too far gone now but **** it I can hope.

I always loved Hunt, he is a former K1 champ and a very exciting fighter with great power... if he trains hard and comes at some "fightable" weight, he can be dangerous for anyone, I agree. The question is, will he train hard at this stage in his career?

He said he has been taking his training seriously now, unlike a few back. I assume he'll do it.

 Hardly much face to save. May be he's contractually obligated to give Hunt a fight?

I dont recall Hunt ever making a weight as low as 265. Marks a big stocky dude who fought at around the 290 mark. Well see.

thats what i mean, if he was really obliged by contract why wait 4 years and 4 losses later to honor this "contract". there is NO contract and theres a hunt interview were they ask him how he got signed and he says "i better keep my mouth shut" that has since been taken down on youtube.

Guys, I don't think this is rocket science. Hunt has a name that mma fans recognize. Sean McCorkle is an undefeated fighter without a big name on his record. If McCorkle wins, the UFC has a 10-0 heavyweight prospect to market. If Hunt wins you have a potential come back story, with a veteran fighter conquering an undefeated monster. McCorkle is listed as being 300lbs on sherdog.
