The draw wa St.Pierre.With him off the card, which,by the way.was THE MAIN EVENT,there is no chance this will break the 300 mark.At least in boxing if the main event was off due to injury they would postpone the entire event and certainly wouldn't charge the customers the same amount of PPV money for a card without the two main event fighters. This is ridiculous.Zuffa is pure greed.
Do you honestly think they should postpone the whole event? Would that really be right to do that to the other fighters just to make sure the main event stays the same? I say that becasue the other guys are spending money to train, and are also beating themselves up, and if the show was cancelled, it would be all for nothing.
I understand what you are saying-but how can UFC charge the customers who PAY for this the same amount of money for a now inferior card? And what about the PPV price? They are not even acknowledging this and hope they score a touchdown. They are NOT fan friendly and their true colours are starting to show. That is all I am saying.
They cannot just change the price of the show. They have a deal to have these shows on PPV, so it's not that easy for them to just stop everything like that. It might be different if it was just one show every once in awhile like boxing does, but they have events set in advance for a cetain date before they put any fighters on a show. So they can't just close up shop and tell everyone they will do it at another date because that is not how it works.
Here's the problem solver: you don't buy the card. Simple, isn't it? It's not like boxing, its not all about the main event. Very rarely is the main event FOTN. Stop looking for reasons to attack EVIL GREEDY ZUFFA. It's bollocks.
I'd like to see it in a graph, vs time. The lower numbers don't surprise me too much actually, it's noticeably less larger than it used to be.
That is really a no-brainer Einstein.Of course I won't buy it.It still does not acknowledge the FACT that the MAIN EVENT is not replaced on this now inferior card. What don't you get?Do you really believe that the buy rate will be as big if St.Pierre is not on the card?atsch
Hope you are right. But the figures don't show the growth I thought they would. Apart from the odd peak you would have to say they are somewhat disappointing. Chuck v Ortiz 2 did huge numbers though :good
