He actually made NO valid points. The fact you believe he did just reaffirms what I think of you. Dana knows full well who JMM is. Hes talked about him in the past in very high regard, saying hes a brilliant fighter.

Mayweather is coming off a 20 month layoff, who the hell do you expect him to fight? I am far, FAR from a Mayweather fan but this is one hell of a comeback fight. JMM is no f'kin joke. This guy can flat out fight. Mayweather is not going to take Pacquiao fight after nearly a 2 year layoff. I expect Mayweather to beat Marquez but I essentially know who is going to win on every UFC PPV, NOG/COUTURE being an exception.

And the #1 P4P fighter fighting the #3 P4P fighter is really an incredibly interesting fight. Its not like Mayweather is fighting Victor Ortiz. Hes fighting a top fighter who gave Pacquiao 2 ridiculously tough fights and actually should've won the 2nd fight.

Dana White’s central premise is not wrong.

The fight people really want to see is not Mayweather/Marquez. It's Mayweather/Pacquiao.

He shouldn't be making fun of dancing with the stars. I mean Liddell is going on there. I normally like Dana but he is dumb here. He is only giving Floyd attention lol. If he didn't want people to buy the ppv he wouldn't even mention it. And boxing has put on much better fights here lately than mma besides UFC 102.

Yes, and we WILL see that if Mayweather and Pacquiao get through their fights.

MMA fans however, will not see Lesnar/Fedor. Should we continue paying for UFC cards despite their most prestigious division is constantly fighting to see who the #2 HW is?

Dont trash me assclown when are calling the Heavyweight divison the UFCs most presitigious if you knew anything about the UFC then you would know that they have basically built this company around the Light Heavyweight divison for years.

I'm going to try and get both events.

Juan Manuel Marquez is one of my favorite fighters, and is regarded by most as being the 2nd best pound for pound fighter in the world. Let me also add that many regard his split decision loss to Manny Pacquiao, who is considered to be boxing's best, to have been a bad call. Marquez will be facing Mayweather, who was considered boxing's best fighter before retiring less than 2 years ago. The fact that the fight is taking place two weight classes higher than Marquez has ever competed is the only justifiable argument for daring to think that this fight could be a mismatch.

This UFC is one that I want to see, but I normally pay for them. Belfort is returning to the octagon to face Franklin in a very intriguing match-up. Filipovic and Santos could be a lot of fun. Koscheck and Trigg would have been awesome if Trigg were younger, but I still welcome this match as well.

If I have to choose, I'm going with Mayweather and Marquez.

Dana knows that Mayweather/Marquez is gonna kick Franklin/Belfort's arse. I'm a big MMA fan but Mayweather/Marquez looks more appealing to me if I could only watch one or the other. Also Katsidis is on the card and always puts on a show!

Geez...I didn't think anybody could possibly make me love Mayweather (cuz I want the guy to lose so badly), but after hearing DW I seriously want the fight to do well, and succeed. Before DW I didn't really care...After DW...I definitely care.

Well, I already got the PBF vs JMM before Dana made a ass out of himself again. The fact is that unless it's a kick ass card in MMA I will pick a good boxing card over MMA any day. And I have followed MMA since UFC 2 and now watch as much as I can.

That's the problem. Once in a blue moon, you get a great boxing "card". You get good to great UFC cards almost every time.

You spell like a zuffa zombie/wwe fan. But moreover, don't you think it's a little pathetic that you defend the bankrupt fertitta's mouthpiece. And you do so without even naming these "good points." Grow up, kid.

If the fertittas were smart, they wouldn't have ruined their father's business. Fluking out and paying off media is not succeeding. If you know what's good for you, you'll find another sport, or just go back to wwe idolization where you belong.

Having PBF and JMM and Pac-Cotto are both great fights not to mention Vitali-CA, prob is they don't come often enough, UFC puts out a card every month plus strikeforce,Dream and other org's that put on good MMA shows. I like the comp that MMA is giving boxing because it will force boxing to give us more fights we want to see.

Give me a break. You KNEW Franklin would beat Wand, and you KNEW Franklin would lose to Hendo? You KNEW Serra would beat GSP? You KNEW GSP would beat Penn? That Lesnar would lose his first match with Mir but win his second? That Forrest would beat Rampage, and then that he would lose to Evans?

The UFC doesn't put on gimme fights at the same level that boxing does, and it's just wrong to act like it does.

Also, if Floyd wants to be the best ever he should fight Pac, layoff or no. Ray Leonard came off of his break and moved UP a division to beat an undefeated Marvin Hagler. If Floyd is so great, he should be able to come back and fight a smaller fighter that has losses on his record already.
