UFC President Dana White's Fails

Yeah I get drawn in when the most biased posters on here accuse everyone else of being Zuffa Zombies. Im sure you know who Im talking about

 

Dana White runs a business, an organisation. He has to maintain a monopoly. Co-promotion does not make sense when you are the premier player. Everything he does is an employer but the top dogs don't want to be employees anymore and that creates friction.

The flipside is SF, who run their business is the fighter friendly way the UFC haters like. However, how long did it take to make their HW champ fight, where is Diaz vs Miller etc

It is not perfect but if I had to choose, I would go with the UFC way because that way I know there is one champ who is made to keep fighting the best.

 

You think this is the reason for Dana White hate? Because he makes his fighters compete? For most Dana haters it is his mouth and the amount of loyal followers DANA WHITE HAS PERSONALLY.

these ZUFFA Zombies gets me far more than Dana ever could, they regurgitate what dana feeds them, and worse expect others to not call them out on it.

 

I think the point is he gets the fights made inspite of his personality. Of course there are exceptions

 

When I have told you to be grateful for Dana White? When have I given him all the credit for the expansion in MMA or denied the existence of Pride? As usual you're reacting iirationally. All I said was that you have to acknowledge that Zuffa actually invested some of their own money in growing the sport and their increased monetary success is based that growth, rather than screwing a declining fanbase for more money.

And no I don't think Vince McMahon has made pro-wrestling more popular, that's why less people watch it now than before 1984. And boxing's sad decline from its peak in the 70s is obvious and shouldn't need restating.

 

Dana's mouth is a love hate situation. Its because of his mouth that he sometimes tells it like it is and sometimes puts his foot in it. Generally, I like it.

It does annoy me when people take UFC word for gospel though.

I can't really believe everything dana says cuz he is a promoter. He said kimbo would never fight in the ufc then he gives him a chance to compete in the ultimate fighter

I'm not a fan of some of the stuff Dana White says, but idiots use their dislike of him to justify harbouring a hatred for the UFC, which is ridiculous.

 

Who CARES???

Why do people get so wrapped up in this sort of ****? Watch the fights and enjoy them. Regardless of what organization they are in, and regardless of who is promoting them.... or even *GASP... what Dana White says.

The ONLY thing that I care about Dana White doing or saying is giving us the fights that we want to see. He definitely does that. Everything else is completely insignificant.

Unless your a part of the Mothers against foul language commitee you shouldn't get to worried about it. this is fighting not womans ringette people should worry less about Dana and be more about the fights.
