    We can only hope....

If signed I hope Brock fights Carwin\Vasquez winner and Fedor woops on another high ranked heavy, then maybe another competitive fight for each before facing off.
Imagine the build up to Lesnar\Fedor.....the magnitude of the fight........it would be something.

It would be good to bring Fedor in and have a build up but its not logical. Fedor would be going in to the UFC as # 1 HW in the world and wouldnt need to beat high ranked UFC HW before a shot at the title. Not to mention it wouldnt make sense to have Fedor beat a top HW as if he then beat Brock afterwards you have already killed a possible challenger to fedors title.

My guess is that Fedor would have another fight before Lesnar on a UFC event. The one in Portland, Oregon on August 29 makes sense.

#1 He has been training for a fight and is in prime condition now whereas Lesnar just came off of a fight and needs some "down-time". They will need to coordinate their schedules and each have a fight close enough so that they can syncronize their training schedules.
#2 Fedor needs a match in the octogan because the feel and strategy used is different than one in a ring.
    # 3 A Lesnar-Fedor fight should be held in Las Vegas and it is a while before the UFC has one scheduled for LV. Fedor needs a fight before then.

The same site which reported this story (The Times) have added another article in which M-1 confirm that they are in intense negotiations with the UFC, but nothing has been agreed so far.

Why does Fedor have to be fat! I don't like fat people. Especially a fat fighter. Even more so arguably the best fighter in the world. :)

Lets face it, Fedor is the only guy who has a chance against Brock.
he dosen't need a warm up fight. His record speaks for itself.

I predict Brock to tap as Fedor has no quit in him.

Will never happen, least not this year or the next. Why would Dana feed Lesnar to the wolves so soon, when he's made more money off his back than any other star be had on the roster before?

i agree with everything you said except for fedor tapping brock,i think brock would smother him like he did framk mir, lesnar has learned from him mistakes in he past,he has great body on body control...and fedor doesnt have any quit in him but it wont matter if the ref has to step in and stop the fight:lol::lol::lol:but seriously im tired of all the speculation let get him signed so we can find out for ourselves instead of just going back and forth on these forums...lol:thumbsup

    :good
:good I would definitly like to see Fedor have a "tune up" fight in the Ufc before taking on Lesnar. Fedor vs. CroCop rematch as his first fight in UFC would be insane, probably set a new PPV record.
Personally, I think Alexsander has better chance at beating Brock, he is an awesome fighter with size and quick hands. His win/loss record would make him look like easy prey for Lesnar, but he's very dangerous.
