lol at the UFC for leaking out such an inflated dollar figure. Thats the easiest thing in the world to leak out in an effort to put pressure on the other side, because of the obligatory, OMG, he turned down that much money! response.
No need for name calling. We'll see if the steroids can help your boy overcome the skill deficit he will face if this fight comes off. Doubt it though.. he was fortunate to catch Randy in the temple otherwise it could have been a long night and Randy's getting pretty old now :deal
I don't know... there might be something here. Although, I find it hard to believe that a deal would get done so soon; so don't go crazy if it goes passed Friday and takes place next week.
Great article from Zach Arnold Have to agree. Why do so called journalists take Fedor not being in the UFC so personal. There is no need to get so emotional about it.
how awesome would that be if fedor got dominated by brock then aleksander came over and beat brock? i would be laughing my ass off
its funny that almost everyone uses the steriod card on lesnar,he has never tested positive, hell barnett has 2 times before this time and he was ranked 2nd in the world and nobody hardly said anything about his steriod abbuse, but i will give you some credit couture was doing a great job against brock and i wish it would have went a little longer i was starting to enjoy the fight and then boom its over...lol:thumbsup
While I agree Fedor isn't obligated in any way to sign with the UFC, and I respect the fact that he's looking out for what he perceives as his own best interests, it'll be a shame if this bout never happens. Especially if Lesnar does end up being the dominant heavyweight in MMA who establishes a legacy. Despite the fact that Fedor has had a great career and beat some great fighters, there will always be talk about how he didn't face Lesnar. It would be a shame if some sort of deal can't get done.
Thats a pipe dream. There will be nothing of the sort. The UFC are responsible for giving Lesnar the big push. No one apart from UFC fans is looking at Lesnar as a career defining bout for Fedor. The UFC wasnt able to pull of Couture Fedor this is no diffrent. Neither fight enhances what is already a truly exceptional resume.
Exactly. Fedor has nothing to prove. He doesnt need to fight Lesnar. His legacy will not be ruined if he doesnt fight Lesnar.
I think people are anxious to see the **** kicked out of Lesnar.. not so much a career defining test for Fedor.
that is a very good point i wonder why dantes didnt reply to it?????:huh:think another thing is people talk about brock like he has no gifts, his fights are fixed, and people are taking dives for him. The man is a genetic freak, no one has the combo of size, speed, agility, and strength that brock has. those gifts combined with what he is learning every day he trains would make him a very hard fight for any one in the world and a challenge that gets bigger every day for anyone in the world including Fedor and his little ****** vadim.
Because it wasn't a question and didn't require a reply. But if I you need something... Not testing positive is not a certainty he hasn't used steroids to gain additional size. What's more likely- Brock being a genetic freak and getting that ridiculously large mass through hard work only- or like many others (caught and uncaught) with ridiculously large physiques- use steroids from time to time and employ a good physician to time your cycles and reduce the risk of being caught??:think
Whats more likely??? with absolutely no proof what so ever then a reasonable person would have to believe that brock is where he is through the blood sweat and tears of hard work. the man works out hours a day six or seven days a week. ive a cousin that is a natural body builder, he is a vegetarian and uses no supliments and is 6'6 and weighs 285 lbs with a body type very much like brock lesnar so ive seen that it could be done with a serious commitment to hard work. in todays world of steriods, hgh and other performance enhancers it can be hard to let someone go about there job without trying to cast a shadow over their hard work due to nothing but being a cynical jaded barnett fan who i might add has tested positive once again so if there is any steriod mudslinging it should be slung at the right target, not someone who is just a dislikable personality
I'd say most people would believe Brock has used steroids at some point or another..regardless of lack of current proof- it would be more LIKELY he has used steroids to gain abnormal size. Despite your obvious love of Brock (I don't really like or dislike the guy- let alone Barnett for that matter) in the realm of probability the odds are stacked against you.:thumbsup
i dont love brock i like him, respect him for his hard work and recognize the beast that he is in the octagon but he is not my favorite fighter by far my favorite mma fighter is probably manhoef or st. pierre. and as far as the steriods go i am just saying if your gonna accuse someone of doing something, have some proof. i dont like seeing people raked across the coals on nothing but rampant speculation just because people dont like him
