I think Fedor has to fight Brock for a couple of reasons. One his name would become a household name and related to that his income would shoot through the roof. But he certainly doesn't have to fight Silva. that's ridulous. He's a couple of divisons below him and a win against him would mean nothing.
If that is true, it's only because I am a fan of MMA and I enjoy watching the fights. What is it with the philosophy that the purpose of fighting in MMA is to become so good that you don't have to fight anymore, that you are suddenly considered the best and you never have to fight to prove it. I don't know if it's going to be Mir or Carwin, but you are right about one thing. If/when Fedor beats Lesnar, the next question out of my mouth WILL be what about the next guy in the line. Fedor was a big favorite against Barnett and frankly I don't think Barnett really stood a chance but that doesn't mean I, for some reason, didn't want them to fight.
What is it with the philosophy that just because someone is in the UFC everyone has to chase them there. Why doesn't Brock run out his contract and go chasing the BEST competition availble, which is Fedor? Why is ***** Brock fighting second rated fighters hmm? If you wanna prove you're the best you have to fight the best, isn't it everyones philosophy? Fedor just KTFO #2 HW in the world, why does HE have to enter UFC to fight the best. Why is it that UFC fighters don't have to chase Fedor but Fedor has to chase them? Why are these new lame arguments against Fedor are so ****ing one sided and it's ridiculous that no one seems to see that. The fact is, Fedor HAS been facing best competition as of late. The **** about him not facing the best competition, when he was about to fight 2 #2 HW in the world inside 6 months, has got to stop. It's ridiculous. I'm just realizing people are UFC fans much more than they are MMA fans. People tend to forget REAL quick what happens outside UFC. Kudos to UFC for that for sure.
