It's not killer instinct he's lacking. He's too scared. He's an athlete, not a fighter. He's not worried about finishing, he's worried about being finished.
GSP just isn't entertaining to watch these days. He's too conservative to be fun. Sure he wins nonstop, but man, it's not fan friendly.
This is the case in my eyes, and I'm spending more time typing than watching the fight. GSP is too good for Shields, and he proves this when Shields gets desperate and stops following his ******ed gameplan. GSP stops him at anything effortlessly. But he will not take a risk anymore, his corner seem for it but GSP panicked as soon as his left eye ****ed up. He doesn't have it in him. It's the difference of gameplan in this fight. Georges has a great one but has no want to finish it or less confidence but Shields has a **** gameplan and wants to get to his skills but its not working. However his jab is but the only thing stopping him from using it is GSPs superior striking and ability to finish the fight if Shields gets brave.
This is pathetic for GSP to be carrying Shields this way. Shields looks handicapped standing and he has GSP bloodied up?
This is a good thing though. GSP is facing a backlash and will face Silva to prove his worth. Hopefully.
