I hope Bellator ****s the UFC HARD for this ****. I can understand if exciting guys get one chance more but this is a sport and they released Fitch who is close to being a top 5 WW and Volkman who is close to being a top 10 LW along with Russow who was on a huge winning streak in fights many expected him to lose and Prado who ahd his first fight against a top 10 or even 5 LHW in Davis. Who the **** is responsible for this I sincerely hope this will catch up with the UFC and Bellator who now has a lot of legitimate top fighters ****s them hard

    got no words for this
Fitch - Silva was the MMA fight i enjoyed the most in 2012
a promising young talent taking into deep water by a grizzled veteran
Dana has a beef with Fitch for many years now since John refused to sign a certain contract
    but this i never expected
i consider it a personal favour that Lorenzo gave to Dana
    sad news

I train at the same gym as Che... I'm sure this isn't going to go down well. At the end of the day we have a guy in Bellator so I'm sure they'll offer him some coin :deal

what a ****ing joke. there are still a lot of good fights out there for Fitch. this just goes to show dana is more interested in the entertainment aspect. he is 14-3-1 in the UFC and is getting dropped because dana dosn't like the way he fights.

^This. He should have 11 straight losses on his record.

There's plenty of gatekeepers ready and waiting for Dana's call......... UFC is driving MMA and it appears can do what they like

Maybe that is what ****ed Dana off.

He wants his pretty boys to rise to the top to get more casual female PPViewers & Floyd Mayweather Jr fans.

The UFC has too many fighters plus they are bringing in te strikeforce guys aswell, someones gotta get cut. Thats business, if you want to LNP then expect to get ****ing cut.

If you peform well in other orgs then your chances of getting picked up again improve. Like I said theres too many guys on the UFC roster.

    **** Fitch.

    That's stupid. This isn't 2005, there aren't just 7 events a year.

Plus, you state there's "too many fighters," like you could ****ing tell us what the right amount is.

There is no right amount but the likelihood of fighting 3 times a year for all those fighters just isnt reality, it would be different if the UFC had a minor league version.

Ive been reading this same discussion on Sherdog so this bloated roster isnt just my idea. Surely it would be better for some of these fighters to get their names out there moreso in smaller orgs. Firstly it also puts the much needed pressure on fighters who intend to coast through fights playing it safe to actually do something. Dont forget that the UFC is in the business of selling PPV's & some fighters just arent bringing it. I believe that we are going to start seeing more fighers from Eastern Europe and the Caucaus regions in the UFC soon. So this axing ties in with that.

Dont be a hater Niggggahh :blurp

They could have least had him fight Woodley before leaving.
