In the recent weeks UFC released a lot of top prospects, fighters on win streaks and younger than 30. Cirkunov and Krylov were their top talents in an already thin 205 division. They also didn't want to extend contract to Lorenz Larkin who beat Magny and Masvidal in his last two fights. On the other hand the horrible WMMA fighters who haven't won a fight in years like Jessica Eye (1-5 in the UFC, the only win was due to an injury) and Angela Magana (0-2 in the UFC) are still signed to the UFC. To make matters worse they've just created an entirely new WMMA division (145 lbs) and are about to create another one (125 lbs). There's absolutely no logic behind these decision if the UFC want to really present themselves as the "top MMA organization". It looks like they're just going full pro wrestling and only look for fighters who can somehow become a draw and bring some money in. I don't know how anyone can take UFC seriously as a sport after this.
Lot's of guys are leaving because of the shitty the Reebok deal is... Sponsors were the main way most fighters made most of their money. I don't blame these guys at all, why fight in the UFC when you can make more money in lesser orgs and also reap the benefits of most non-UFC orgs being less picky about allowing you compete elsewhere on the side.
