I heard Leben's spent all his wages and is barely making it these days.

The man who defies the pay structure in regards to achievements versus pay is Bisping.

 

Thats because he's worth oodles to the British market. Remember this is a business first. Dana's not stupid. He rewards those that make his promotion money in that order first. Thats not likely to ever change.

 

This means nothing... most fighters earn more than double their reported salary each fight through lockerroom payments.

Also many of the top names do not get win bonuses as they'd rather have PPV points... that is why Silva is so far down the list.

ufc is no different than boxing, the guys who draw fans will get bigger paychecks, except that boxers can negotiate with different companies (ie promoters) and have more career freedom.

I wonder how many have been smart with there money and how many have thrown it away?
