I love it, **** the UFC. The company has been on a down-slide since the Reebok deal, but the popularity of MMA as a whole has been in decline for a couple years. Meanwhile the popularity of boxing is on a upswing again, it appears MMA/UFC was somewhat of a fad. Though I don't think it goes away completely, it appears they are very much back to a small niche sport that will be kept alive by the harcore's. Looks like White & WME better start kissing ass and catering to the hardcore's big time.

But that's a long ways away man and I don't think you can approach him from that aspect now. Take it up with el hefe.

It's a publicity stunt and Joshua could be behind it. Just like football agents that pump stories into the press that other clubs want to pay their player double when a contract is expiring. BS.

Exactly. And given the issue with no one willing to ante up to air UFC, Dana is in a pickle.

LOL If you think AJ is leaving Edwardo. Eddie has his claws in deep on AJ.

Fast Car knows what he is doing. Look at him abusing HBO, dangling AJ in front of them, then making them spend $$ on Browne vs Whyte.

AJ probably will go to HBO btw, my sources are telling me. Even though Showtime has backed AJ hard. HBO needs to do something drastic to get on top of the boxing market and Peter Nelson is willing to spend the big $$$!

Brock, Ronda and McG were the cash cows. Needs to find another one to keep the franchise going soon.

This fella, Glory HW champ Rico Verhoeven, has expressed interest in the past in fighting in other combat sports but can't do it because there is no infrastructure for an athlete to compete in more than one at a time. I'm not saying it doesn't happen just according to Rico it's very difficult.

I can't say if the UFC did something a bit different and used their platform as a middle ground I wouldn't love that. Anthony Joshua vs Rico Verhoeven would be a damn good fight. MMA rules, MMA gloves, but not MMA fighters, a little more old school UFC but this time with real pros. I could get into that.

Also, there should be cross combat sports unified champions. Theagenes did it. It can be done. There was once a boxing champion who was also the MMA champion and the grappling champion. Let them try again.

Ngannoujust got crushed by Miocic. Cracked Stipe hard but got outwrestled to a stoppage in rd 4 I think. Miocic is super well rounded.

Would watch TF out of Rico vs AJ. Think AJ gets his legs destroyed by kicks.

AJ has just taken a slice of Ed EEEE’s promotional company, so he is locked down and won’t be moving anytime ever.

    This is complete BS.
