Seems like good time for Nick to come back with basically no stand out challengers for Woodleys title,he probably just needs 1-2 wins against the top10. Him and Nate are both among the most popular and UFC just needs to pay Nick and give him the right fight. There is sum fun matches for him at the moment,I would love to see him against Lawler again or Masvidal/Cerrone.

Nick just screams from the sidelines demanding a big fight only to show up and give a sub par performance. He hasn't had a good win since Paul Daley in Strikeforce.....

No thanks. He does nothing but whine when he loses easily to elite level guys because they don't stand like a zombie in front of him. One of the most overrated mma fighters of all time. Nate has had a much better career than Nick imo.

And even then Daley nearly KTFO of Nick in a great fight. Daley's never been a top welterweight imo. Any top 170 lber easily beats Paul Daley.

I think for a while Nick was clearly the better of the two, but due to Nicks inactivity and Nate's recent stardom he's probably been eclipsed by his little bro.

For starters while he may not have been in his prime Nicks win over BJ was definately legit,it was only just over a year since he lost his Lightweight belt and the rematch in close fights to Edgar then after he KO Matt Hughes in 21 seconds and drew with John Fitch who was still rated 1 challenger in the Welterweight division. His loss to Condit was close and controversial and his last 2 fights were title losses against GSP and NC with Anderson Silva at Middle.Nobody else has even fought both GSP and Silva but he has a lot of haters so Im used to the over rated talk. Ive been a fan from since he started on UFC and he has been 1 of the best and most exciting fighters since not long after and hope he comes back.

Totally agree. Nick if he's anywhere near form has a great chance of beating Woodley.

If Woodley obliged him in a war, but not going to happen with how negative he fights. He'll just low kick and stall the **** out of him to a boring 50-45 decision.

He certainly can be. But is Woodley as good as GSP. He wouldn't go near the mat when he faced Maia, for obvious reasons.

But Diaz can strike better than him and is more than competent on the mat so it could be interesting if it goes there.

Woodley also isn't used to fighting a hard pace for 5 rounds and that's exactly what Diaz brings to the table.

GSP cut his teeth with Sherk, Penn and Hughes so his ability is beyond question. Woodley has Thompson and Maia both who have question marks about their credentials.

Although to be fair to him they are the best two men he could have faced when he faced them.

Can you stall against someone who throws in such high volume?

Nick just walks forward. So easily. And Woodley is physically far stronger, he could hold him against the cage whenever and as long as he wanted.

I'm not saying Diaz wins, I'm saying he's the WW fighter with the legit best shot.

Who else is there? Lawler, Cerrone, Masvidal, GSP, Nate Diaz, McGregor, Gastelum?

Of course MacDonald if he comes back has already beaten him once. Can't see Marquardt or Shields repeating the trick.

That's just it. No one apart from Wonderboy or MacDonald who isn't even in the UFC anymore has a great shot at beating Woodley. That said apart from Thompson I give Lawler and Ponzinibbio the best chances of beating him of the current Welterweight roster, even if it's only just a punchers one.

He's probably going to go down as a great champ but it's a shame he's so boring. Not because I don't like watching him, but because Dana is going mental at one his p4p best champions.
