Silva by KO 2 although I think this fight could be a tossup Sherk UD in probablly a bloody mess of a fight Nogueira Armbar 1 Ortiz UD although I dont have much faith in that pick
Pfft, newbies... we're watching 2007 UFC or not silva marquardt(W: HK ko) sherk franca(W: body slam) nogueira herring(W: Kimura) ortiz evans(W: GNP)
Silva: Everytime I have counted him out, he's proved me wrong. Sherk: He is going to stomp Franca. No doubt about it. Nog: Did anyone pick Heath? Evans: Probably the toughest fight of the night to call, but Evans has looked better recently, and Ortiz has looked worse. Put two and two together.
the only person i got winning easily is nog, besides that i think silva sherk and evans will win but be put to the test
I'm not sure if Evans has the takedown defense needed to stop Ortiz.. Ortiz has a very sick GNP, if Ortiz gets a couple successful shoots Evans is going to be in a ton of trouble.. Not too many guys can handle Ortiz's GNP style on the ground, he really has one of the more honed/advanced yet boring gnp styles.. Heath looked lost on the ground last time I saw him fight. If Nog has the option to throw elbows on the ground he's going to force heath to either give up his back or turn his body and leave an arm open and isolated. Nog being so fast to react, I figure he will get an isolated arm before Heath has a chance to give his back up.. Heath is way outmatched this fight under these rules.. Franka has a sick chin, Sherk controls him on the ground and gets the decision.. Silva has some tools marquardt hasn't seen before, especially in the clinch.. Marq will rush, get caught in a thai clinch and go out much like Franklin did.. Marqardt has a great chin, hasn't been KO'd before and I don't believe he will be wary enough of Silva's striking, probably overconfident in his ability to take shots which is why I feel Silva gets the KO.
