The sad part was, that I live in NJ, am a big MMA fan. But this card looked bad from the start. Didin't do nothing for me, so I didn't want to go to this at all. Glad from what I have been reading that I saved my money by not going to paying this.

I'm not sure that MMA is done or on their way out the door. I've been watching UFC since UFC 1. There have been far worse times than this. This year I have certainly not been as enthusiastic as I have been others.

I agree that there was a dead period there something like UFC 25 to 45..dark days..But even those day fantastic fighters were fighting..Tanner, Terrel, Tito, BJ, Hughes... more exciting fights also just no fanbase...now it just plain suck

These things happen when a certain market is flooded. Hardcore fans have been watching guys behind the scenes and we followed their careers without the spotlight. When MMA boomed there were certain standout guys who people flocked to. Now that they are gone or on the downslide we are in need of their replacements.

This is my point.Guys like Don Frye are were the bread and butter that kept MMA alive. All the B - C level fighters from PRIDE are gone. There all splintered or simply not fighting. MMA like boxing needs its journeymen as there the life blood of the sport. The UFC just seems to want everyone to be a star and Dana only signs guys to his terms and conditions. If there star doesnt shine he gets rid of them in a flash. We thought with the demise of PRIDE the heavyweight scene would get more clarity or at best merge the talent. But Fedor wasnt signed. Crop has fallen to the way Sylvia is still lurking in the background and amazingly Randy shone full part.Who would have thought..

i still dont get it why they'd have a bisping-evans main event. one's coming off a draw against a waaay past his prime tito ortiz (should have lost if not for the deduction) and the other was coming from a shady win over hamil (most people thought he deserved to lose and got a hoetown decision).

even a 12 year old boy would realize that a main event like that ain't wotth ****. what the hell were they thinking. did they feel that theufc fans were that stupid and that they'd buy every ufc ppv that comes their way without looking at the level of competition? **** it. that ppv sucked big time. i really hope that 79 blows the top off the building. if it doesn't, then the ufc is in big trouble
