Professional debut for the moderately hyped up Gareth "Jacker" Dowling.

Nowak, from Poland, is 0-4.

 

WILD stuff, both slinging bombs from the jump. Dowling puts Nowak down in the first half-minute with a left hook...then less than a minute later with a flush 1-2 between his eyes. A third official knockdown, when Nowak takes a knee from accumulation. Dowling coming on with body shots, menacing, hands up and poised to strike but only throwing power shots, no jab.

10-6 Dowling, crazy Nowak survived.

First exchange of the round, a counter overhand right and left hook by Dowling past a Nowak uppercut (that did land tbf), crunches Nowak and puts him down once and for all.
