A minute left. The only path to victory left for the Kazakh is a HUGE one-punch detonation, or a horrific robbery.

I'm a longtime Akhmedov fan and can't stand Dibombe's style, but the judges better not screw this up. Akhmedov deserves the kick-in-the-ass wakeup call this loss is going to provide. He'll be damn lucky if Banks doesn't quit as his trainer - didn't listen to a word he said.

    Official cards:

    97-92 Dibombe
    96-93 Akhmedov (wut)
    95-94

    SD for Akhmedov, terrible

Banks already on the outside ring apron. He gives a curt fake smile and nod when Akhmedov shouts him out during his victory interview. He knows they got a freebie there, and clearly feels disgusted about it.

The last time I felt that bad on principle for a fighter that's garbage to watch is probably Bradley Skeete when he got jobbed versus Frankie Gavin.

Second robbery of the night, i've not got much enthusiasm for the main event now.

I'd rather be KTFO than receive an obvious gift after being clearly beaten for eight consecutive rounds and JTFD after my coach told me repeatedly to not be in position to get caught & unbalanced with a jab.

This is for the WBC Continental Americas title, second defense of Walsh. (why an Irishman is eligible for an Americas title - other than he trains at Wild Card - is anyone's guess )

    His kayo rate is 9 in 11 - a whopping 82%.

Runowski's in stark contrast is a minuscule 27%, with a mere half-dozen stoppages in 25 bouts.

I had a bad feeling that this might be the case, but thankfully I didn't go with Dibombe for the upset, because these UFC Pass cards have been notoriously corrupt in the past. Regardless, Dibombe lost pretty wide against Melikuziev, but he hung tough and put up a fight, Whereas Akhmedov against Rosado, his last real outing two years ago, he looked like timid hot garbage, that Gongora KO loss, has his confidence fubarred, big time and if he can no longer pull the trigger against the likes of Gabe and Dibombe, maybe he should consider hanging them up. Clearly of the two you were hyping around the same time, Bohachuk has recovered from his loss with flying colors, has zero fear and is the better of the two by a country mile.

Agreed! Would have never guessed a few years ago that Bohachuk would have far more upside in 2024, but here we are.

    Round 1

Runowski following, tracking Walsh's lead hand with his own, ready to catch a jab or hook. Lots of movement and feints by Walsh. Runowski moving his left glove to whatever altitude Walsh's right is occupying. Walsh dances past Runowski and claps him with a flank shot. Left hand by Walsh, gets a roar from the crowd. Runowski ducking in place, twitchy, double-jabbing up at the head of Walsh. Runowski with a 1-2 downstairs, and Walsh lands a right hook on the body in response. Walsh blocks a couple of high-climbing 1-2s. Walsh tosses a quick left hand and right hook at the chest just under Runowski's extended arms. BIG right hook on the upper hip by Walsh. Left uppercut by Walsh. Runowski NAILED with a combo before the bell, punctuated by a left cross.

    10-9 Walsh
