I used to hate him. He hatred for boxing disgusted me. Everything was about how boxing was big gloves, not real fighting etc like they were a bunch of pansies. It was offensive. However, UFC is here to stay so he has calmed down and I've warmed to him a bit.
He's a tool. Remember this is a guy that turned down millions from the WWE so he could get chump change in the UFC so he could rep "real fighting". Dude has the IQ of a rock.
I don't understand how choosing to do commentary for MMA instead of pro wrestling is considered negative. I mean, if Bas decided to switch to WWE halfway through his commentating on Pride surely it wouldn't have made you happy right? (Though, there is a difference between choosing a different one at the onset and switching halfway through a career.)
Theres many ATG's in MMA who have pro wrestling backgrounds. If it wasnt for pro wrestling there wouldnt have been no PRIDE. Goldberg shits on every other sport when he knows **** all. As a sports commentator he's a hack. And an extremely bad one at that. Bottom line is he would have made some serious change in the WWE. The smart man goes for the money and cashes in. Goldberg isnt smart.
