Even when Reem faced Serge, you can see he is much smaller and simply not as complete a striker. His growth (hormones) has seen to it that he has much more staying power, is physically much stronger and hits incredibly hard. In addition to that, his striking has become much better. The way he tucks up behind guard, measure his distance, times his shots, counters, finishes etc has all improved.

Reem is not unbeatable but he is on a ****ing hot run.

Its hard to say who will the trilogy between him and serge because serge has this laid back style where he can be dangerous because he doesn't seem to be in a rush i.e. Reem II and Arlovski.

Reem vs Werdum should be a great measuring stick. Him winning the K1 shows that as a striker he has improved an incredible amount. As a mixed martial artist, it looks the case but the competition is comparable and ultimately...

Nobody is unbeatable. However, at least Cain has yet to be beat. I'm sure that won't last forever, either. Overeem has been beat against ALL of the best fighters that he fought. Yet, somehow...just because he roided up... and went on run against a bunch of sub-par comp... he's just unbeatable now. At least let him win the GP before he gets this label. He shouldn't even at that point... but at least you would have something to back it up with.

 

I could care less where your name appears, to say a man who has only beaten Congo and Nogueira (Lesnar is ****) would all those guys is ludicrous.

Overeem vs. cain... That fight would get me excited!!

 

Out of those I think the only one who'd have a shot in hell would be Cain. Lesnar just couldn't stand with the guy, and I honestly don't think he is that good on the ground (as Cain showed, and old man Couture showed that Lesnar's wrestling isn't that great either). Carwin would stand a punchers chance against anybody, but would gas to easily.
SF heavies fair much better against somebody like Overeem than UFC heavies. SF heavies (or should I say SUPER heavies) are actually in good shape, and tecnically pretty good. UFC heavier (super heavies) are just simply big. There smaller guys seem to be the better breed, but I'm sceptical they could actually handle a big man who could take a punch and has some endurance. JDS couldn't take out Roy Nelson for instance...
