Ugas beats Spence

    Ugas is extremely good at what he does that is holding his ground close or in the center of the ring and countering his opponent, he also controls distance quite well.

    He's not bad but he's not the best at leading and exploiting the openings on a regular basis , he initiates his offense most of the times to make the other guy come at him, so that he can counter clean with higher connect .

    He also excels at fighting guys smaller than him , while Spence isn't the smaller guy , I feel his aggressive style plays into Ugas' hands and he gets outboxed .

    Unless Spence comes behind a jab and sticks to boxing for the entirety of the fight I don't see him beating Ugas by being up close.

    What are your thoughts on this?

    Even with a detached retina ?
    I feel Spence's days in the sport are numbered, first car crash and now this . I legitimately feel that he gets beaten by both right now.

    However to the point at hand , what will Spence do to beat Ugas if they fight ?

    Ive seen him blackout wasted at a showtime show in vegas. Also in interviews at shows he attended. Wasnt he drunk when he crashed the car? I was assuming he was also drunk getting a detached retina a month out of his biggest payday and opportunity ever. Hope its not just stupidity? Nobody that partys and nobody that stupid is beating crawford.

    Ugas can not beat Spence. Don't get it twisted, Spence brings a lot more to the table than Pac, in terms of size, strength, reach. power, punch selection and movement. It would be a totally different fight.

    He's not knocking out Spence and he isn't active enough to win on points. He's good enough and has done enough to get a shot, but I can't see him winning even if Spence comes back in bad shape.

    Spence matches up well against ugas, his up and down straight punches style of fighting would be hard for ugas to counter. Only reason ugas was able to land at will, on pacquaio was because his legs were shot to shi.
