Ugliest Punching Technique?

at people getting defensive over Calzaghe.

The topic is simply talking about how ugly his technique is, not downgrading his ability as a boxer.

 

I find joes punches horrible to look at. But it obviously works for him.

Calzaghe doesn't hit half as hard as he used, go watch some of his old fights there is some real venom in his shots and his punching technique was better then it is now.

Maussa and Soliman are painful to watch...

 

From the list I'd have to pick Caballero as his he appears to be akwardly reaching with his punches. I think that Brian Vera guy should be mentioned too because he is one of the slowest and sloppiest fighters I have ever seen. If he had some speed or technique he probably could've beaten Kirland, or at least rattle him a bit.

 

Victor Oganov displayed appalling technique against Andre Direll.

Yeah Maussa is pretty bad...I could not stop laughing at the maussa vs. vivian harris fight...Maussa knocks him out and punches him while hes laid out on the mat mma style...lol you gotta see how vivian harris was so pissed off in his corner, emmanuel stewart barely could make him sit...

 

Carlos Maussa. Calzaghe's punching style isn't flashy but it does the job especialy when you consider he is 46-0. :deal

Hopkins is almost technically perfect, classic boxer with all the fundamentals down. ****.. why am I even replying.

 

joe, soliman, and as much as i like the guy, it's not a surprise about how antonio margarito leaves himself wide open when he opens up on his shots. his chin does allow him to do what he does and he does it effective, but not something you want to show a begginer. margarito will be margarito
