Now this isn't intended to be a Ward bashing thread although he is probably the first name that comes to mind when thinking of 'ugly' fighting styles. So with Ward an automatic contender due to his rough and tumble tactics who else can lay claim to have the the least pleaseing style to watch? A few years ago my answer would of been Sergio Mora but now days it's hard to think of many others that can hold a candle to SOG. Answers on a postcard please.
That technique was horrible to watch. I was glad to see Wlad go out fighting nicely rather than with the Povetkin fight hug fest I was fearing. I think the Fury's and Ortiz are pretty awful to watch too.
Good shout. Not only does his technique look awkward and ungainly, I'm also disappointed that he didn't actually try to knock Mayweather out. It was his only realistic chance at winning, yet he never wound up on his punches or anything. Instead he was happy to last as long as possible to gain some "credit" for going rounds.
Billy Dib, Miguel Vazquez, Tyson Cave, Bradley Skeete, Evgeny Gradovich, Chris Eubank Jr., Martin Murray, Lee Selby, Frankie Gavin, Lee Haskins, Carlos Molina, Cornelius Bundrage, Sadam Ali, Jesse Hart to name a few.
As long as Carlos Molina's active he's the ugliest style to watch in boxing. I don't think Lee Selby belongs with the others you list. I find him a treat to watch as a smooth mover, and he knows how to throw. Unlike most of the the others who think they're out-boxers but don't have coordination and technique so look atrocious.
ward, bika, andre dirrell, miguel vasquez is putrid to watch . and im not the one to bash boxers but man hes boring. wlad also belongs in that list. ward and wlad are elite level tho ill admit that ., but still there not my fav to watch
