    Oscar ran the show today...

    Wonder if Schaefer got canned? Or it is coming very soon

    No, I think the reason may be that Canelo is the only fighter that actually has a GBP contract. All the others have contracts through Haymon.

    What Oscar wants is good for boxing. Why would any boxing fan not want great matches be made between the 2 biggest promotions?

    Lara is a Haymon guy... lot riding on this fight for Oscar. If the fight sells, and Canelo wins, then Oscar keeps his leverage with the networks and thus his fighter stable.

    If Canelo brand gets damaged, its a big blow for Oscar and a big win for Haymon.

    Time to pray for Canelo to put Lara to sleep.

    Yeah, Fat Dan said the same thing in an article a few days back. Expect a **** undercard without one of Haymons fighters being involved..
