Uhhh Ohhh! Floyd "IOU" Mayweather is pulling a "Holyfeld".

A man defined by his belongings is not a man at all. Floyd needs to realize that, he's blessed with good fortune, but how insecure must you be to let it define you? Nice house though, glad I don't have to pay the light bill or clean the pool.

2. Why do you care if he's able to maintain a steady income of millions of dollars or not?

Definitely nice, but I'm just amazed at how much people pay for a house, or with Floyd...Amazed at why he pays what he does at anything he buys.
Even if you can afford it (i'm not sure he can due to his history) it just seems crazy. I know he's a party type of guy with lots of friends, but how many rooms do you need in your house? Or especially the people that only have like themselves, and ther wife (maybe a kid or two) and they live in a monstrous mansion. Just more to clean, and rooms you don't need.

Honestly though this should be a good thing. With people like Mayweather everybody wins....The economy wins by him having $ (cuz he buys everything he possibly can), the IRS definitely won, and as soon as Floyd's money dwindles down he gets forced to fight Pac, and *more than likely* we actually get to see Floyd with his first professional loss.

Lets say he makes $20 mill for a fight. After paying his trainer, agents, taxes, he'll probably net $10-$12 mill.

If he invests his $10-12 mill in conservative investments and gets 5% annual return, he will get $500K-$600K a year.

So more than half of that will go to pay for his property taxes, assuming he paid for it free and clear with no mortgage.
