Rahman definitely isn't an EU citizen. Povetkin may have German citizenship, not sure.

I'm sure Fwank will find a way around this.

Do they need grounds? They could say Rahman is old and badly overweight.

 

I'm not sure they've had enough time to check out every legal scenario. The fight had to be announced now given the date that they want it to be held.

I still don't see any way the board can stop the card from happening though. The only thing they could effectively do is what they stated and withdraw the licenses of anyone involved in the bill, which would be just ridiculous.
