Renown journeyman Kristain Laight fights twice this Saturday... in two seperate venues! What do you think about this? Recall anything like this? Laight, dubbed "Mr. Reliable" fights almost every week, with 8 fights since January and a record of 11-220-7. http://boxrec.com/boxer/216597
Prolific Professional losers like him are just as good at what they do as the top guys are at what they do... Taking as many fight as humanly possible while usually avoiding getting seriously injured. The sport is built on the back of guys like him... They give up and comers rounds more often than not and therefore provide an invaluable service.
Good point. What happens if he gets knocked out the first fight? And what about long-term health? He's only been knocked out 5 times, but surely 220 losses accumulates on you pretty badly (even if some are only 4 round decisions).
They're neatly ALL 4 round decisions, and usually against inexperienced guys in their first 5 fights. Guys like Laight are actually quite skilled at not getting hit, covering up, holding etc
...actually I've a feeling this is a mistake. One fight is in London and the other is on Bristol. That's a bit over 100 miles! Doesn't really seem possible in one night
It´s illegal in quite a few locations. And this guy is getting paid quite well. I think he makes at least £700 per fight.
