Just curious. Is this the worst year for UK boxers fighting on foreign soil? Matthew Hatton David Haye Ryan Rhodes They all came out as jokes and Brit fans going home disappointed. Amir Khan - seriously, I'm bit nervous with him. He's a bit vulnerable. The only one I have faith totally is Carl Froch coz he's tough, has heart, has good chin. He might go down but still firing 'til the end.
macklin is probably our 10th best fighter and he beat germanys p4p #1...... its clear were dominating the sport. id would be nice if you had some good fighters under the age of 35 so this argument had some substance.
no your right. you dont have to travel so its only a quick drive home crying your eyes when your guy gets exposed, eg taylor, pavlik, jacobs, dirrell, arreola, green, alexander.
Brian Magee is a warrior but Bute is 2 or more levels above him that made that fight a joke. Brit fans still disappointed on that fight.
LOL. Sorry but I'm not an American... UK boxers are good. I think they're just "unlucky" on foreign soil this year so far. Just imagine if David Haye didn't have his pinky toe swollen?
Acctually I have owned the TS on numerous occasions. Him and his sidekick are quickly becoming arch rivals of mine.
Just going to point out, 'cause like 90% of the other ****s on here who don't know about British boxing, they were all big underdogs. Hatton and Rhodes were brought in just to go the distance with Alvarez, none amounted to anything special over here. Haye was never going to beat Wlad. They weren't unlucky, they'd be lucky to win.
